AI filmmaking with a human point of view

OTTO AI is the Los Angeles studio of filmmaker and creative technologist Johnny Otto, building the HBO of AI content: premium original series and worlds, made with generative AI and held to the standard of great television.

The studio develops sci-fi, adventure and kids franchises, led by the cyberpunk western MERCER. Every project is shaped from concept through final delivery: writing, creative direction, world-building, image and video generation, sound, editing and post. OTTO AI also creates cinematic commercials and branded films for product launches and digital campaigns, and builds custom production tools, including XODE, to make ambitious AI workflows faster, more consistent and ready for real-world use.
